When that tune first came out the common opinion among the rock critics among us was that it was an allegorical warning about the coming right-wing dictatorship. I guess today, in some circles, it would be viewed as a metaphor for socialized medicine. Thanks for the blast from the past. Now if you really want paranoia, look up CCR's "Fortunate Son".
