After the fall of Saddam, after Iraq had been occupied, Cheney ordered people tortured in an attempt to get them to say there was an al-Qaeda link and to get them to say there were WMDs.

Since there wasn't a Saddam to al-Qaeda link and by that time the WMDs were no longer a factor, the US tortured for simply political purposes. Now this was ordered by people who divulged the identity of a covert CIA agent for political purposes. There seems to be no length to which they wouldn't go.

Keep in mind that while this was being done the President was lying about it.

Let's pray that what happened to our country will never again be allowed. And let's hope that there is justice both here and in the hereafter for these monsters who trashed America's principles.
