'Cause MDs and other medical people are some of the geekiest people on Earth, of course. I spent the afternoon in a hospital today, in fact, getting the mission briefing for an upcoming angiothingie, and the vision of a campus full of thousands of medical geeks is still vivid in my mind's eye. Adjusting for the fact that real life isn't a sitcom, the cast on Scrubs seem pretty lifelike to me. The white coats are welcome on GeekSpeak any time.
Funny article in a recent SF Chronicle on "bromances". It focused on Kirk and Spock as the classic archetypes of male devotion, then in a list of other possible bro couples, dismissed JD and Turk because Turk lacks commitment--he'd leave JD for Carla if it came down to it. Just thought I'd share that.
