Rachel Alexandra took the field and wiped out all those pesky males! The 2nd jewel in the Triple Crown was won today by a filly! Go girl-power!
Poor Mine that Bird. No one would let him on the inside so he had to find a hole and got stalled and came up just a length behind Rachel. I'm telling you, though, Mine That Bird was going great guns and had the track been another 1/8 of a mile even, he'd have had that filly! Or if he'd found a hole... It was a great race. Wish I'd had some money on it!
I love horse racing. They are such beautiful creatures.
