Here's an example. I'm wondering why a prop couldn't be mounted at the mid-point of a wing, which could be tilted independent of the prop. The probwash going over the top of the wing would create a vacuum, the propwash hitting the lower part, which is essentially a huge flap, would generate upward thrust, and the thing could come straight down. I'm sure there are flaws and that I'm not the first person to think about it. I just don't know what the flaws are. Arf
