Broward County, FL, where I live, is about in the middle of the scale, in spite South Florida being the epicenter of foreclosureville. Maybe its because we're still at relatively low unemployment here. Still, although I do detect a lot of fear and apprehension, I don't really feel like I'm in a depressed area.

I guess as long as you have a job, the economy is not really an issue.
