All intertwined, interconnected, multilayered. In this consistent, logical system, nothing is ever abandoned or debunked, just more and more is added, additional links and connections are made. It is all so complex and all-encompassing that it appears that everyone in the world is part of the conspiracy except for a handful of brave seekers who have been inexplicably left in the dark, and who constantly struggle with obstructionists to do their "research" and seek out the elusive truth. It reminds me of the fetid stew of religious cults that brewed in the late Roman Empire until Christianity consolidated a few and banned the rest.
