DNR is NOT assisted suicide.
It just means the doctors let a person die without heroic measures to save a life that would end soon regardless.
However, assisted suicide happens every day in hospitals all over the country. They just up the dose of morphine and they're gone. It is with the patient's knowledge and agreement and almost always the agreement of the immediate family.
