Where a time traveler goes to find Jesus and instead gets quite a surprise:

I bet if time travel ever does become real, the Vatican will forbid visiting
the Middle East from 4 BCE to 30 CE.
And speaking of the Roman Catholic Church, I am becoming more convinced
than ever that George Orwell's 1984 was not only a commentary on
general totalitarianism such as Stalin's regime but the Church as well.
Too many things that Big Brother and his enforcers do remind me of how
the Vatican operates, right down to where you can be punished for even
thinking bad thoughts.

And remember, it isn't enough to fear and obey Big Brother - you have
to love him, too.
