I don't know about suicide,
but I do know the pressure on recruiters to "perform" has always been strong, and often unfair. These guys don't have a union or the option to get another job. Most recruiters have already served extensively on the line and/or have combat time, and this type of corporate bullying must be very difficult for a warrior to endure.
