Space/Science » in reply to Frank De Winne in space !!

A Canadian too.

Funny thing, as an African-American from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
now living in western Canada, these Canadians
don't show much interest in one of their own citizens
going to stay in space for 6 months.

Six months. That's three seasons.
All six ISS inhabitants will see spring pass, summer pass,
autumn pass.
And it snows on the mountains here in Nelson in November;
around the time the three astronauts return to Earth.
I understand that the French word for summer is "Ette"
and in Russian it is "Leta". Didn't know that till recently.

later.
