The Democrats are trying like hell to create a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate that will completely neutralize the Republican Party in Washington, and you're lecturing me about democracy and representative government? If that idiot comedian would have been the 53rd Democratic vote in the Senate, nobody on either side would have given a rat's ass.
It's amazing how suddenly the idea of total single-party control of the entire government got rehabilitated once the "right" party took over.
