It would not have been safe for Obama to do so
That guy probably has had more threats on his life than any President
before him.
I would have had no problem if the Bushes went out like the Obamas did.
At least it is nice to see the Presidential Couple getting along, unlike the
Clintons.
If this is the worst that the conservatives can dump on Obama, then he
must be doing something not terribly wrong.
Of course Obama has now probably gotten a lot of married men in
trouble as their wives ask them why they don't go out to dinner and a
play sometime. Certainly it would be a lot less hassle for just about
anyone else.
