A big semantic problem is the nearness between "astrology" and "astronomy" (in dutch, astronomy is sterrenkunde which is far enough from astrologie).....We constantly have to correct people about this.
For instance, when a conference is organized in a public meeting and the organizers need our imput, they often think we're going to talk about astrology...:-(
