update

Yesterday I dumped Xp x64. It was acting very odd. Just the act of closing a window took 10 seconds to actually close it. I even turned off all the animation features and had it running on 'performance' mode Then a driver was causing the thing to freeze up every time the computer went into sleep mode. Microsoft was helpful enough to tell me it was a driver causing it, but wouldn't tell me which driver. Last of all my bluetooth keyboard quit responding with the OS. The bluetooth mouse kept working, but I couldn't get the keyboard to do anything anymore regardless of how many ways I tried reconnecting it.

So I bit the bullet and installed Vista 64 Business instead. The thing rocks with Vista. I still have a few issues to work out. Its not liking my Domain for some reason. Everything else is smooth as butter, and I'm running with all graphics features turned on. I may have to take back a few of the nasty things I once said about Vista. Perhaps after I get the domain thing worked out...
