I told my mother how much I made as a hairdresser. She was pissed!!!!!!

She felt she should have made more than me...as a nurse's aide in a nursing home. She felt since she was an LPN she should make more, but CHOSE not to take the Texas Sate Boards when she she moved here from NYS.

I always kept my mouth shut because it makes people jealous or worse, dare to question my judgement on MY purchases.

Also another major reason I keep my mouth shut is I don't want to hear.."Gee, can I have a loan?"

I do not care if anyone knows what I make..it is the judgemental whispers I can not tolerate.
