But one of his conceits is that he is a master of logic and only he understands the English language with sufficient subtlety and comprehension, that no one else does, therefore no one else knows what they are talking about.
When I say "coup", or "fascist" or "asshole" you don't need to reach for a dictionary. Everybody knows exactly what I'm talking about.
