Grab a calculator and calculate the solar surface needed to get the required power to meet your country's power consumtion per year.

You are not allowed to use non-existing panels, you are required to use specs of panels that YOUR goverment would be willing to pay for (we all know they try to get the cheapest stuff).

Now tell me if covering up that amount of sea from sunlight might have an impact on the sea.
