"Angler - The Cheney Vice Presidency" is a fascinating read, and I'd heartily recommend it to all. I'm not finished yet, am enjoying the flashlight showing some of the darker recesses of the last administration. Having said that, I realize that it is necessary for Conservatives to avoid reading histories. The only way they can maintain their beliefs is to obtain all of their information from newspapers and grade school texts, or from well-informed blogs whose sources are newspaper headlines and grade school texts.
