I think the direction of the recent congressional resolutions which passed overwhelming- Ron Paul being the only one to vote against- was the sort of direction that many American wanted the President to take earlier.
"You don't choose sides, and you don't intervene, between two rivals who don't share our values, nor our interests."
This isn't about two rivals. This about the Iran people being able to express their outrage over a fraud called a election.
It's about a govt unresponsive to reasonable demand that the vote is counted.
