Maybe, just maybe...
...this is how the GOP can get rid of Trump without paying a political price for it with their base, and still preserve the rest of their tax and regulation and social agenda. With luck, the smoking gun will turn up before the mid-term elections, Feyd-Rautha will depose The Beast Rabban and the Dems will fall again into apathy, thinking they have won a great victory. The spice must flow.
It just seems to me they caved in too easily on this--which is why I first posted on this topic when I initiated this thread.
