A Night -or anytime!- at the Museum
Link to Google Earth... The Prado program lets viewers move visually from outer space, down through Madrid's cityscape to the neoclassical museum and right up to the individual materworks.
Get a close-up! The images are 1,400 more detailed than by those taken by a standard digital camera. Each picture is made up of thousands of smaller photos. The effect on the eye is seamless..
Among those on view are Rembrandt's Artemesia; El Greco's The Knights Oath; Fra Angelico's The Annunciation; and Goya's The Shooting of May 3rd.
