Are you serious?
No businessman in existence, including the great robber barons, has ever thrown so much money and power around so arbitrarily as political leaders have. A single piece of legislation, passed in a day, can wield twenty times Bill Gates' entire net worth. Add to that the government's power to command and mandate, something no business or private citizen has, and we're talking a completely different level of abuse of power.
Looking at the last couple of centuries, I'd take people like the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts any day over Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, and the rest of that ghastly list of leaders who believed the proper role of humanity was to be vassals of the State.
