If I were near you, I'd take the little guys.
Not that I need more cats, but I couldn't stand to see them perish or fend for themselves. Unfortuantely, I'm in the KC area.
Bless you for rescuing the one and trying to rescue the other. The other may wander in to find its little fellow traveler so you may be able to get both of them.
It breaks my heart to think of little ones like that on their own. Curse people for not fixing their pets and for letting little bitty ones out to fend for themselves.
