Wondered about Stress and fatigue of AIRFRAMES
back in the old days of flight, planes were scrapped because they became obsolete, now-a-days they are kept flying 10+ years or so, exclusive of millitary ones(B-52's 40+yrs!) Now I see this pic and wonder how safe the general avation fleet is and do the carriers compromise the flying publics safety by these quick fixes with more in flight ramifications down thru the years.........
