The people at the Cape on Launch Day
The July, 2009 issue of Smithsonian magazine has a photo story on the
people who were at and around Cape Kennedy for the launch of Apollo 11
on July 16, 1969.

Note the lucky little kids putting together a model of a Gemini astronaut
and spacecraft!
Think there will be the same kind of crowds when we send the first
humans back to the Moon, or on to Mars?
