I don't know what's going on, either. Unlike the conventional ways of looking at it, either capitalist or communist, either Christian or heathen paganism without regards for women's rights, those guys have a different pattern.
They all seem to be gray. Not much difference between them, except that some favor giving their resources to foreign multinationals and some prefer using them for their own people. And the US will come down on the side of those who will support the multinationals over their own people. Every time.
However it's done, the resources are filtered down through the leaders where the dimes and pennies pass on, the rest sticks.
And the names they tend to have are as descriptive as the names of rock bands. "Socialist Democratic People's Republic" is hardly ever socialist, democratic, or a republic. Add "Christian" to any of their names and you know the name is designed to confuse.
I'm sure that if someone were closer to the situation it would make sense. But right now it's seems like a bar fight which is all arms and legs and flying chairs, with someone having been thrown out but who knows who. They're all badguys.
