"What chaps my hide is that people do not require better of themselves. They are too busy trying to change the behavior of others.

They wear their dubious behavior like a badge of honor. Defiance.

The key is to eliminate drama in one's life...not create it for others...or rationalize it. Many people keep doing what they are doing because they are not held accountable. Many times recipients of the negative behavior are so wrapped up in themselves they do not even notice and shrug or ignore or deny ...or they just get plain worn down....leading a life of quiet desperation. The high maintenance of many becomes an albatross for the laid back who slowly adapt and rationalize...until they have lost themselves in the quagmire."
