I'd rather see the Russians take it over than have it shut down right after it was finished. That's got to be the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Maybe the ISS wasn't a good a idea up front, but now that's its finished, it is insane to shut it down, especially since they've got a mass-produced, dependable spacecraft that can service it.
