The first drawing of the Moon from a telescope and the first man on the Moon
Just found this:
Thomas Harriot made the first Moon drawing on august 5 1609....
I knew this:
Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, was born on august 5 1930....
Then, ouch, it might have been july 26 1609 because of a calendar difference (gregorian-julian) , but no, the Moon phase matches august 5 and not july 26 (Starry night search).
Neil was born exactly 321 years after the first drawing of the Moon through a telescope.....321 like a countdown!;-)
