Digital Apollo
The book "Digital Apollo" MIT Press by David Mindell goes into the CSM and Lunar Lander computer at length. I'm in the computer field but it's very readable; it goes into the notable 'man vs machine' debate that raged at the time, depicts the computer's development at MIT's Lincoln Labs (guys had to 'invent' the compilers, OSs etc.) describes the various commands and how they work and finally details of each Lunar landing and what each LEM pilot did and did not do using the automatic sequencers. Fascinating.
