Just enter a date (your birthday, for example) and see the +/- 5 1/2 year history of sunspot activity. Enter July 4 2004 and note the wicked mimimum we're in. Word up is that despite the present lack of sunspots, telltale magnetic activity has solar scientists saying we've belatedly started the next cycle. A small solar max is anticipated by most.
