First, a crop circle that appeared a few days ago in a farmers' field irritated him so much, that he started to cut out the image (a butterfly). So, when he went out today, something had rebuilt the image and put the tips back on the wings of the butterfly that he had so carefully cut out. AND put some extra circles. or "grapeshot" around the original formation.
Incensed, he or a farmhand started carrying a gun; and was arrested by the police immediately.
NOW do you think the hoaxers should be found out, arrested and fined?
Why should the farmer have to protect his crops?
>"By the night of July 12 to 13, the angry farm owner apparently hired a man to walk the field with a gun and shoot any “croppies†that entered. Then yesterday afternoon, July 13, 2009, the Wiltshire Police arrested either the hired man or the farmer allegedly for firing a shot gun. The news was carried in the July 14, 2009, edition of the Gazette & Herald. "

Is this farmer justified to want to shoot the hoaxers?
