Hey, where's Apollo 12?

Not to seem ungrateful, and I realize LRO hasn't settled into its 31-mile
high orbit yet where the images will be even better, but that is the one
Apollo landing site I wanted to see because we could have also seen
the nearby Surveyor 3 lander.

That image is important because then when LRO images Surveyor 4 we
can determine if it landed softly or crashed. Surveyor 2 probably did
crash on the Moon, but I would still like to see that one too.

Next time if someone asks you if you can see the astronauts' footprints
in the lunar regolith (as has happened to me several times, but they
didn't call it regolith) through a telescope on Earth, you can now show
them this to say Well, maybe on Apollo 14 if you have a space probe in
a close lunar orbit, but otherwise, nope.
