Florida Lightening Kills 15 Cows at Once
A friend of mine called from Florida last night to tell me that a storm that moved through Florida a couple of days ago managed to kill 15 Brahma cows at once. (BTW, the damage estimate wa grossly underrated.) Now, having lived there for 30 years; I can tell you that a cow or two occasionally gets taken out by a lightening bolt...but a whole herd? This happened close to Tampa, the lightening capital of the <world.>
