Endeavour landing was heard loud and clear!
Well, we've made a huge deal of a shuttle landing in the past here and this one was it for me. I actually HEARD the sonic booms... BOOM, Boom when I was outside for the first time EVER.
Blame it on low lying clouds, heat and humidity, but I heard them and then went inside to see that sure enough, Endeavour was landing.
Kennedy Space Center is about two hundred miles away!
A first!!!
