"Universal health care is implemented in all industrialized countries, with the exception of the United States."

"It is also provided in many developing countries." They seem to make it work, seem to be happy with their systems. What is it about America that this can't be done? Is it we don't have the money these other countries have, the management skills, the training and educational systems, the natural resources? We don't have the money even though we consider ourselves the wealthiest country in the world?

Obviously not, it's that we don't have the will. We consider ourselves religious, and yet we simply don't care that much about people. Most Americans have a self-professed belief in God, and yet support unnecessary wars, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Not providing Universal Health Care is simply another reflection of that callousness.

America's view of herself is wildly skewed and inaccurate when compared with her actions.

(I will be the first to note that America has done a lot of good. That should be a given. If the kindest, most gentle, most effective Roman Catholic priest, the best at nurturing the grieving heart still molested little boys it would be reprehensible. America is like that. All the good is what we should be, the bad is inexcusable unless the lessons are learned and the behaviors are corrected.)
