Even that article is 4 years old. NASA needs to update it.
I have yet to receive the Hoax email this year. I usually get it because a friend, who knows my interest in astronomy, forwards it to me. I guess most have smartened up as I would always have to set them strait.
It's sad how even intelligent people have fallen for that. Also sad how uninformed the general public is about science, astronomy in particular, and will fall for some of the most outrageous stories.
