I was having lunch with a very nice demure lady and I mentioned how the democrats will likely push through health care reform without the GOP, since they want no part of it. "FUCK 'EM!" she said. "Better to do it without them so the reform will be meaningful."

She had had some health issues a few years ago and her policy was canceled because she had not signed one particular form. She was not allowed to rejoin because now it would be a pre-existing condition. She was refunded all the premiums she had paid that year.

This bullshit must end with or without our right wing friends. The mood among democrats is hardening. Obama and Congress were elected to bring real change. They don't need republicans to make health care reform happen.
