I believe it was Justin who came up with the moon graphic originally. I retained it and worked it into the redesign lo those many years ago.

You sound nostalgic, Rob. I don't think we're leaving behind much, really. The new place encourages DIY, so I'm confident that you or somebody will work the moon image into the new site. Plus I expect everyone to leave more of their own mark on the place with those DIY tools. I know it's always kind of sad to leave some place you've lived a long time, but I'm confident you'll settle in to the new place and eventually it'll feel like home. If it doesn't, keep bugging me. We'll get it right.
