All the people he brought with him are sycophants, brown-noses,
boot-lickers and ass-kissers. But as he fires and replaces them, the newbies are wising up, and they know now people will believe their stories. This kind of boss does not inspire loyalty, he just attracts people like himself. They'll rat him out just to save their own sorry ass.
