How it could have gone?
I was listening to a former ambassador to Isreal who said Trump could have had a chance at "The Ultimate Deal" had he announced 2 embassies in Jerusalem. Its an interesting thought, that rather than wait for both sides to ever come to an agreement, unlikely, just forge ahead as if its already a 2 state solution.
