Initial Coin Offering (ICO)
ICO's are a way of raising money for start-up companies that circumvent the traditional way of an Initial Stock Offering. As such, there are fewer regulations or penalties to protect investors. On first pass this seems like a good idea, sort of like Kickstarter.
