but I had to miss my demonstration due to a prior appointment. But I did watch some of the activity in DC on TV and I was so proud of those kids, they are kicking ass! They seem to have it together much better than we did during the VietNam protest era. I think I'm going to have to revise some of my prejudices about Millennials. Some of those speeches were really gripping, and all were moving. One young woman became so emotionally distraught she vomited. It took a few moments for her to regain her composure with the help of her friends, but she returned t the microphone and shouted out; "I just threw up on international television and I feel great!" She then gamely finished her remarks. I was so damn proud of her.
If I were a legislator I would be feeling some fear right now. These kids will not take no for an answer, and many are old enough to vote in the next election, and practically all will be old enough in 2020. Suddenly, an A+ rating from the NRA looks more like a liability than an asset. I'm very curious to see how the Dark Side is going to respond to this.
Has anyone checked to see if the DC protesters today exceeded Trump's inaugural crowd?
