This is a lie. I have never approved of true government subsidies for private enterprise or "crony capitalism" (see also "green businesses"). There's no "lately" about it. I have held this position since I got out of college, and libertarians as a group a hell of a lot longer. Cripes, the way I frigging saturate this place, there's really no excuse for ignorance on my views.
How much "regulation" is too much? Are you aware of the drastic differences between laws about dumping waste in a river and laws about how much sugar there can be in lemonade or how much water your toilet can use? You lump an awful lot under the term "regulation." And of course, we have to deal again with the attitude that any complaint about too much government must mean a support for total anarchy.
