It is already too late to avoid global disaster...
All we can do now is take steps to reduce the severity of the disaster. The policies of those that have denied climate change, and covered up the science have resulted in leaving us only a choice in the degree of the apocalypse we face... our best hope now is to maybe reduce the number of billions that will die.
