Things seem to be quieting down as police deploy. T
This all started as a peaceful and orderly protest around 1500 today, but after dark there were incidents of looting sparking a police response. Several police vehicles damaged, at least two set ablaze. The local media are all reporting, but not too aggressively, and IMHO their choppers are being warned away from the action because we are getting little useful video from them. Local TV reporters are not moving, due to police orders, so the action always appears to be somewhere else. I imply nothing by this, its just that scenes like this are chaotic and confused, its difficult for anyone to figure out what is going on.
