Wishing someone ill and celebrating comeuppance are different, but related.
Wishing, hoping, thoughts, and prayers are meaningless. They affect nothing in the grand scheme of things. The universe unfolds as it will. But it is cathartic to plead to the heavens, even if nothing is listening.
Celebration of another's suffering? Even if they are a "hold my beer, watch this" kind of guy who proceeds to set himself on fire...?
Yeah, you gotta laugh a bit while dialing 911. But I still feel a bit bad while holding back a chortle.
I just want them, the administration, and their minions, to understand how serious this is. If it takes the suffering of anyone of them to alleviate the suffering of millions of others, so be it.
