I was called in to serve . . .
The company I worked for considered it a paid leave -- for the first two weeks. I also received a small paycheck from the state.
As it was, I sat downtown and watched movies for two weeks. Every trial I was listed for was plea-bargained to settlement.
It was a nice break away from work.
