Back to settle an argument: The size of the Universe

Over 20 years ago, it was accepted here, on this forum, that the Universe was 28 billion LY across, 14 Billion in any direction. My thoughts were, we are looking at light from 14 billion years ago which originated at a distance of 14 billion LY. The universe has been expanding at a high rate ever since- for 14 billion years.

I believe it was D. Spears and Phil who insisted that there is "no added time".

The current accepted size of the the Universe: 93 BLY across. I assume the "extra" size comes from the fact that all points are expanding away from each other or else the expansion would be FTL.

I'm not a physicist. But it appears I could be somewhat right. Go ahead, roast me :)
